Depending on how many invitations we get, and where, La Califusa plans to hit the
road (at a date yet to be determined) to play and sing with fans in their kitchens.
The idea is to make a film documenting the hot new trend (real or imaginary -- what's
the difference these days?) of ordinary people reclaiming and reinventing music, in
their homes, with the TV off and the music industry not participating.
Do you have a kitchen large enough for several people to sit at a table? Are you game
to make up new songs on the fly? Got any instruments to twang on with us? Extra
couch? TV you'd be willing to destroy on camera? We'd like to put you on our map.
